Darling Jones House

Weakley County, Tennessee

This farmhouse was built by Darling Jones in the 1840s as a one-story log dog trot.  Buck Orr built on a second story, filled in the breezeway - which is now the entry hall - and added siding.  The porch and garage were added later.  Across the road is a wooded hillock where the family graveyard was located before the remains were moved to Highland Cemetery.
